Firewall integration
Automate Juniper Networks Firewall with plain language
Run Junos RPCs over the REST service on an SRX cluster to read security policies, zones and sessions.
What you can do
SRX Series (Junos REST API)
- List security policies and zones
- Inspect the active session table
- Read interface and system state
Connection: basic authentication against https://srx.example.com:3000. Credentials are encrypted at rest, or prompted per action if you prefer never to store them.
Example
Ask in plain English
Prompt: “Block 198.51.100.5 on Juniper Networks”
Result: VernacSecure SuperBot™ resolves the right policy and address object, applies the rule and records the change in Your Logs.
Read actions
- Fetch system info — Reads the Junos version and chassis details.
- Fetch security policies — Lists the configured security policies.
- Fetch security zones — Lists security zones and their interfaces.
- Fetch active sessions — Reads the flow session table.
- Fetch ARP table — Reads learned IP/MAC pairs, useful for endpoint correlation.
Write actions
This integration is read-only today. Write actions are added upstream as the vendor API exposes them.
