Firewall integration
Automate Barracuda Firewall with plain language
Read and manage CloudGen Firewall forwarding rules and network objects using a REST API token bound to the VernacSecure SuperBot™ source address.
What you can do
CloudGen Firewall (REST API)
- List forwarding firewall rules and network objects
- Add an IP to a dynamic network object
- Activate pending configuration changes
Connection: header authentication against https://cgf.example.com:8443. Credentials are encrypted at rest, or prompted per action if you prefer never to store them.
Example
Ask in plain English
Prompt: “Block 198.51.100.5 on Barracuda”
Result: VernacSecure SuperBot™ resolves the right policy and address object, applies the rule and records the change in Your Logs.
